GRAPHIC DESIGN FAQS

You will receive many different files of your finished logo design, in a variety of sizes and file formats, which can be used in everything from print projects to Web sites. If you prefer or require a different type of file format, just let me know and I will be happy to supply it.

Image resolution is very important. If you want to print an image it needs to be at least 300dpi at 1:1. All images online or on screen need to be 72dpi.
If you’re not sure you can always look at the file size. 300dpi images will need to be minimum 1-2Mb plus (depending on final print size) and 72dpi images usually end up around 200 to 300kb.

The differences between RGB and CMYK are the main culprit for your colours looking different on screen compared to the printed version. RGB’s additive colour process means it produces colours and brightness that CMYK just can’t reproduce. So if you’ve chosen a colour that isn’t in the range CMYK can print, unfortunately, this means it will come out much duller than what you see on screen.
